Why we fundraise

Every £25 a month keeps an older person connected.

For £300 a year, or £25 a month, your support prevents an older person from being lonely and isolated.

That funds a 25-minute phone call, every week, from one of our trained volunteers, to an older person in Chesterfield, Bolsover or NE Derbyshire who would otherwise have no one to talk to.

What your support makes possible

Bringing people together, not just on the phone.

With more funding we could offer much more to those that we help. Many of the people we support are housebound, but some aren't. With your help we could host a monthly get-together: a chance to make new friends and see old ones, chat over tea and coffee, stay active, and enjoy a game and a singalong.

We can't stop life from moving on. But together we can still help older people feel part of a community, and feel loved.
